I was searching for songs this weekend and I cam across the most perfect love song to describe my feelings for Celimene. The title of the song is Never Gonna Give You Up by the wondeful Rick Astley. It puts my feelings into a type of peotry I shall never master and I hope that my dear Celimene feels the same about me.
Alceste, I’m very sorry to say, I must inform you of some bad news today. I’ve stood aside too long, and let that lady do you grievious wrong; but now my debt to conscience shall be paid: I tell you that your love has been betrayed. You may find this statement to be uncouth, but look above and all doubt shall be removed. I hope this evidence has you moved, because then all I have been saying shall [finally] be proved!
THE TRUTH: That scandalous woman cheated on you, Alceste. But no matter, she is clearly unworthy of the best. I understand this may come as a shock, but let me aid you; let me be your rock.
What! He received a love letter form my beloved Celimene too, and after all those loving letters [she] wrote to me. I cannot belive it! [She] turn[ed] on me like this, and cut my throat. This is heart-wrenchingly horrible. I might even file a suit agaisnt Celimene in court, but i will wait to decide.
This is the man I idolize, William Shakespeare. He drives me to write the poems I write, and I aspire to write as well as him one day. I most enjoyed Shakespeare’s sonnet 130, because it is about how any woman could be loved regardless of how they look. It just so happens that my love, Celimene, is beautiful and intellegent.
I would have to say the pen, because it gives me the ability to express all that I feel through my wonderful poetry.
